Peggie Fowler

Peggie is a 68 year old Georgia country girl from Lithia Springs who sees beauty and creativity in everything.  Her artistic imagination has often been utilized in turning junk into useful, decorative home and garden décor.  Peggie also enjoys the hobbies of designing stage props and costumes, interior decorating, and teaching her granddaughter to be an accomplished swimmer.

As a self-motivated, tenacious goal setter, Peggie continues to pursue some of her childhood dreams; such as becoming a successful dancer and country music singer.  At the age of 42, an opportunity to learn the skill of clogging was  presented, and with hard work Peggie began winning many dance awards such as first place to overall clogging solos.

It was at the age of 60 that greater doors of opportunity began opening.  She has received the title of 2009 Ms. Georgia State Clogger Overall Winner in age division of 14 and up, 2009 Ms. West Georgia’s Most Talented, and 2011 Adult Ms. EPIC; as well as the Ms. EPIC Community Service Award.  Additional accomplishments during Peggie’s senior years include the titles of 2010 Ms. Senior Georgia State and 2011 Senior Ms. Douglasville.  In 2016, Peggie received the honored title of Ms. Senior Wyoming USA, as well as Ms. Senior USA Founding Queen and Hall of Fame.

Peggie feels her greatest award is not in receiving crowns and sashes, but in knowing her energetic personality and love for being an
entertainer has proven to be of great inspiration to so many people; regardless of his/her age, background, or circumstance.
