Originally from  Charlotte, NC, Dody moved to the Atlanta area at 6.  She began ice skating at that young age was a competition skater from 8 to 15.  When she started high school, Dody discovered another passion - gymnastics.

She competed through high  school and started coaching gymnastics. She

retired from two banks and also coached gymnastics at night. Dody coached gymnastics for 50 years. 

She began dancing with Paris Dancers in 2016 and found her way onto the stage in Senior Moments!
