Carol Seitz

Nov. 26, 1949

Carol Seitz is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  She lives in the City of Berkeley Lake, a small lake community north of Atlanta.  She and her husband, Steve, have 2 adorable four-legged kids, Yanni and Sophie.  She spends a lot of time with activities in their community such as being on the HOA and Lake Berkeley Chapel boards, City Events Planner and Art Advisory Chair.  She is a member of the community’s ladies club, BLOSOMs, and Women’s Georgia Fly Fishers. When not providing community service, she enjoys traveling, boating and fishing.

Carol enjoys aqua aerobics, walking, and working out at the gym, but her favorite form of exercise is dancing! She has always loved dancing since her first dance class as a child.  Growing up in the ‘60’s, she loved the music and dances that were poplar during her the high school years. Dancing took a backseat when she began working at Hewlett-Packard.

Carol retired after 28 years at HP and began taking art classes and joined dance groups.  Her first attempt was adult belly dancing. Later, she auditioned and became a member the Atlanta Silver Classix Crew dance team in 2012. The Crew performed high energy style dance for the Atlanta Hawks, Braves Games and community festivals. In 2014, she performed a number of dance routines and made her debut as Goldie Hawn in the Georgia Senior Follies Show.  In 2015 & 2016, she performed in the Mardi Gras Musical Variety Show.

Carol continues taking dance classes and participates in theater workshops. She is the happiest when she is dancing!  She loves music, movement, and fusing it all together. Carol feel as though dancing keeps her young…. that dancing is as much a mental exercise as it is a physical one.

In 2017, Carol joined the PARIS Dancers. She is excited to be performing with this amazing dance team!
