Alma Boykin

Alma Boykin is a retired RN from the County of Wayne in Michigan, and is retired from the United States Army, after 21 years, as a Lieutenant Colonel.  After retirement, Alma worked as a group exercise instructor at Heritage Senior Center in McDonough, Georgia.  Alma’s love for dance began as a child. It was at that time she was Introduced to tap lessons, and later, took modern dance, in college, as an elective.   Alma led a liturgical dance ministry, of twelve, at her local church for three years, and provided several community performances. Prior to joining the Paris Dancers three years ago, she took tap lessons from Cherilynn Paris, and ballroom dance lessons from Arlene Gibbs and Gary Casten.  In addition to her passion for dance she enjoys travel, bowling, music, and the arts.
